TechnoFest-2K26

Organized by Rajasthan Schools Computer Department
Occasion: World Computer Day

In celebration of World Computer Day, the Rajasthan Schools Computer Department organized TechnoFest-2K26. This exhibition was a grand showcase of technological evolution, featuring the hard work and innovation of students from Standards 6 to 11. The event served as a bridge between the history of computing and the futuristic world of robotics, aiming to enhance students’ technical literacy and practical knowledge.

The Inauguration
The event commenced with a prestigious inaugural ceremony at 12:30 PM on 19th February, 2026. The ceremony was graced by our esteemed guests:
 Secretary Shri Deepchandji Bafna Sir
Shri Vivekji Shroff Sir
Principals and Supervisors of all departments
Smt. Shipra Agrawal (HR & Admin Head)
The dignitaries performed the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony as well as Deep Pragatya and shared inspiring words regarding the importance of digital literacy in the modern era. Their presence motivated the students to pursue excellence in the field of Information Technology.

Exhibition Highlights: From Abacus to AI

The unique aspect of TechnoFest-2K26 was its chronological layout, meticulously planned to show the journey of technology.

1. The Beginning Era (Foundations)

Students from lower grades (Std. 6 & 7) focused on the roots of computing from 1st generation to 5th generation. Using creative charts and static models, they illustrated:

The evolution of calculating devices (Abacus, Pascaline, and Analytical Engines).

The transition from vacuum tubes to transistors and integrated circuits.

2. The Hardware & Networking Zone
Students of Std. 8 and 9 presented live projects explaining the internal architecture of modern computers.
Networking Models: Working setups of LAN, WAN, and the concept of Cloud Computing.
Topologies : Working models to show Bus, Star and Ring topologies of networking.
3. Robotics and the Future
The highlight of the fest was the Robotics wing managed by Std. 9 and 11. This section featured:
Live Robot Models: Students demonstrated robotic torch, toll gate, buzzer, piano
Latest Technology Hub: Use the Blocksbuddy app for programming and made live driverless car.
Live Robot : Two Robots welcomed and showed the whole exhibition to the visitors.
4. Cyber Awareness & Digital Security
A critical addition to this year’s fest was the Cyber Security Hub, managed by students of Std. 9 and 11. Recognizing the risks of the digital age, they provided a comprehensive guide to staying safe online:
Common Threats: Students used interactive charts to explain Phishing, Malware, Ransomware, and Social Engineering. Explained How to be a ‘SMART’ for online surfing by chart.
Digital Ethics: A dedicated section on “Netiquette” and the legal consequences of Cyberbullying and Identity Theft.
Digital Technology: Students elaborated the digital payment systems, Cyber Security by projects.

5. The Fun Zone: Interactive Learning
To make the experience engaging for visitors, a special Fun Zone was created. The star attraction was the “Tech-Match Challenge”:
The Gameplay: Visitors picked a “cheat” (chit) from a basket containing a technical word (e.g., “Motherboard,” “Bluetooth,” or “Firewall”).
The Task: They then had to find two corresponding pictures from a separate basket that visually explained or represented that word.
The Goal: This game successfully tested the visitors’ tech-vocabulary while making learning light-hearted and memorable.
Impact and Learning Outcomes
The “TechnoFest” provided a hands-on learning environment that went far beyond textbook definitions. Key takeaways included:
Skill Development: Students improved their coding, circuit design, and public speaking skills.
Collaborative Learning: Senior students mentored juniors, fostering a spirit of teamwork.
Awareness: Visitors and parents gained a deeper understanding of how robotics is shaping the future industry.
Students and teachers from the Std. 6 to 11 visited the computer exhibition and gave their remarkable feedback. They were aware with history of computer as well
TechnoFest-2K26 was not just an exhibition but a celebration of human ingenuity. By tracing technology from its “beginning era” to “latest robotics,” Rajasthan Schools Computer Department successfully ignited a spark of curiosity in the next generation of tech leaders.
